Landing Procedures
After presenting your customs declaration to the officer at the Pre-Inspection Line (PIL) you will proceed to the Immigration hall where you will wait in line to see a CBSA officer. For your interview with the CBSA officer, remember to have all your documents ready The CBSA officer will collect your documents, conduct an interview with you and, upon their discretion, grant you your permanent residence. To find out more about the immigration interview process, click here. Be aware that the New Start YYC kiosk is located in the immigration hall. New Start YYC officers will greet you with a warm welcome and provide one-on-one orientation, information, and referral services to all new immigrants.
